Happy Birthday Hachi!
Hachi was born Komatsu Nana, the middle daughter of three, on November 30, 1980. Her 7th birthday was celebrated with her family in her hometown, smiling and laughing. Her 21st birthday was celebrated among her friends in Tokyo, smiling and laughing.
Today, her 36th birthday is hopefully being celebrated with her own family and old friends, smiling and laughing.

A small cat wanders around a refrigerator in the bedroom of Jim Jones in Jonestown, Guyana. Guyana’s government officials found great quantities of drugs in Jones’ house, isolated from most camp dwelling by 100 yards of lawn and peanut patches.

Our cat had all four roommates feeding him each day because he acted like he was starving and we didn’t know that the other roommate already fed him. This was our solution, hopefully he will slim down a bit.

It’s out!
I illustrated for Disney’s MULAN book “Mulan’s Lunar New Year”, (you can see the book here!) a children’s book about little Mulan spending Lunar New Year with her family.
It’s my first book and I want to share some illustrations :D [*will also have this book at my table at CTNx 2018 this year on display at T55!]
Looking back, there are lots that I want to improve on the crafting of my drawings for this book, but overall… I’m really glad I get to illustrate and to remember the joy and excitement I had celebrating Lunar New Years and lighting fireworks with my parents as a kid.
It was pretty magical.
I just like to creep around.
